At Fellowship, we believe very strongly that God wants to pour out his presence onto us as we draw near to him. Whether it's through the songs we sing, the lights we control, or the aesthetics we create, it's all intentionally designed to facilitate worship of our powerful and compassionate God.

A year ago, two Fellowship Music worship leaders wrote a song called "Seek First." The song is based on Matthew 6:25-34 where Jesus gives us fighting words against anxiety. He says "do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (v. 34). We wanted to capture that in song form—not only for ourselves in our fight against anxiety, but for our church. We know anxiety is rampant in many people today. But we know that Christ brings us peace in the midst of our chaos.

The apostle Paul spoke of singing to one another in "psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs." These categories are pretty broad. But for our current context, it at least means we should be singing song others have written—old and new—and creating our own songs. We want to capture what God is doing here in song form.
We also want to record and capture these songs for 3 main reasons.
1) To make the songs we worship to on Sundays available to worship to the rest of the week.
2) To create for the sake of creativity—God is creator, and we want to express that ourselves.
3) To help the global Church to worship in any way we're able to.

Fellowship Worship (Fellowship Music, Fellowship Creative, & Fellowship Tech) seeks to LOVE GOD. and LOVE PEOPLE. by leading others into a transformational encounter with the living God. We LOVE GOD. by worshipping him—in the power of the Spirit, we worship Jesus, who gives us access to intimacy with the Father. We LOVE PEOPLE. by using our musical, artistic, and technical talents to facilitate others pressing into the presence of God.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. [John 4:23-24]
We love and worship God according to who he has revealed himself to be in Scripture. Yet, the Spirit of God is living inside each and every believer, speaking to us, moving within us, and impressing the gloriousness of Jesus upon our minds and spirits.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! [Matthew 7:7,9-11]
We love and worship God by not only believing God has the power to heal and to grace us with himself—but that he has the desire to give us the fullness of his presence.

We love and worship God by submitting our plans to God’s—both in allowing the Spirit to fill our plans ahead of time, and leaving space for him to fill our expresssions of worship in the moment.

We love and serve people by being a church known by what we are for more than what we are against—namely, distributing the same mercy we’ve received from God to each other and our world. Yet, we unashamedly pursue holiness—looking more and more like Jesus—by living in vulnerable accountability with each other and by continually killing sins such as pride, idolatry, lust, gossip, slander, bitterness, and others in our lives. Instead, empowered by the Spirit, we chase after their holy counterparts: humility, Jesus-worship, pure love, unity, encouragement, and forgiveness.
